Dennie van Dolder is a Research Fellow in Economics at the University of Nottingham. His research combines laboratory experiments, field experiments, and naturally occurring data to better understand human decision making, primarily in the areas of decision making under risk and uncertainty and strategic interaction.

He has published in leading economics and interdisciplinary journals such as the Review of Economics and Statistics, Management Science, Evolution and Human Behavior, and the Papers and Proceedings of the American Economic Review. His work has, amongst others, been covered by the Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, the Financial Times, the Independent, the Times, and the Daily Mail.

van Dolder received his Ph.D. in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2014. Prior to that, he obtained a B.Sc. in Sociology and a M.Sc. in Sociology and Social Research from Utrecht University, and a M.Sc. in Behavioural Economics from the University of Nottingham.
